This pilates class is built to improve your strength and bone density. We require all attendees to undergo an initial assessment with MET Phys’ Exercise Physiologist to ensure we understand your needs, your body’s needs and your goals. By using the Pilates reformer machine, you’ll work on building strength, toning muscles, and improving body alignment.
You can expect to perform various strength exercises that utilize the reformer’s springs and straps to add extra resistance and challenge.
By the end of the class, you’ll feel an invigorating sense of strength and confidence and appreciate the total body movement this dynamic workout brings.
Flex is designed to teach you the fundamentals of Pilates on the Reformer bed. These classes run at a slower pace so you can focus!
Engage in exercises that require less coordination so you can learn to activate key muscle groups, correct breathing and most of all explore how to move your mind and body as one to get a great full body workout!
Ideal for beginners who don’t have injuries, those who have had a break from Pilates and just getting back into it or anyone who just wants to focus on the basics! You do not need to be a beginner to benefit from this class.
